NR-RTK database

A database of nuclear receptors and receptor tyrosine kinase

Nuclear receptors (NR) and Receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) are essential in many cellular processes and have been reported to be involved in many diseases including cancer. In addition, new findings have suggested that these receptors are much more connected than previously thought and this is why we integrate them in the same database. NR-RTK database provides a variety of information on RTK and NR and on their interactions and provides links to more general information available in other sites.NR are classified by Nuclear Receptor Nomenclature Committee in seven groups (denoted from 0 to 6) whereas RTK are generally subdivided in 20 sub-families according to their extracellular domains. We adopted these classifications in our database.
